Wadi Rum, is the magnificent desert in the south of Jordan. Home to my tribe the zalabih for thousands of years, there is nothing I love more than to share the majestic beauty of my home, Wadi Rum with guests from all over the world.
If you are looking for a unique journey of discovery into the desert, then we can help you. We specialize in taking you off the beaten track where you can walk in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia (who wrote the famous “Seven Pillars of Wisdom”) and my ancestors.
Trek in the grandeur of the landscape, or relax in the shade of a spring. Scramble through canyons, take it all in from the back of our Jeep, or travel as we would have done in the past on a camel. If you don't have time to experience the otherworldly "desert time" then we can always show you the highlights of Wadi Rum on our half day jeep tour: “The Wadi Rum Sandstorm tour”.
We will host you for the night in a camp inside the protected area, with all the amenities (showers, toilets, Bedouin tents, beds, blankets etc) that will ensure your comfort. Or if you are feeling intrepid then we can host you in the wilderness under the stars, in a Bedouin cave. I cannot describe how it feels to be in out in the desert, surrounded by all that is natural.
For us, our nomadic life is one of freedom and feeling truly alive; we can listen to the wind, see the stars shining, taste food cooked in the fire and touch the shifting sand under our feet. I hope you will join us on one of our tours to experience all this for yourself.
It is important to us that our precious home is protected and preserved for the future generations, so we encourage those who are eco conscious to walk and travel by camel wherever possible when visiting Wadi Rum.
